Three main activities were required to complete this project:

The selection of a shed was the necessary first step, since it's dimensions dictated the design of both the pier and decking. I knew I wanted something small, light weight, and cheap. After a little poking around I found that DuraMax sells light weight and fairly inexpensive sheds. I settled on the 6'x8' model. These come with an optional foundation system which I did not purchase. Instead, I fabricated a frame out of pressure treated 2x4s with casters on the bottom.
