This is a high resolution image taken through the LX200 at F10. The subject is Mare Orientale, a somewhat rare feature which is usually hidden but was partially exposed by a favorable libration on October 29, 2002 when the image was taken. The large dark crater at 12 o'clock is Grimaldi.
