5/29/06 M4

I had just finished gathering some color data to wrap up another project and couldn't bring myself in on a beautiful Spring night. I needed a target that I could get enough luminance and color for in just a couple hours before morning twilight, globular clusters are great for that, being of high surface brightness. I've always liked M4 for the unusual vertical line of stars that seems to bisect it.
