5/14/04 Comet 2001Q4

In May 2004, Comet 2001Q4 was putting on a nice show in the Western sky just after dark. It was very close to Earth and it's apparent size is so large that I had a hard time finding a good focal length / FOV to shoot it with. On this night I tried using my 55mm camera lens. The comet was just South of M44 the Beehive cluster and this image captures both in their entirety. A little too wide of a field though as no real structure to the comet can be see at this greatly undersampled image scale. I'm going to mount the ETX70 on the LX200 and try some shots with the CP995. I should be able to find the right FOV with that setup.
