9/24/03 Spiral Galaxy NGC6946

My first color galaxy!! Fun! NGC6946 is a pretty spiral in Cygnus. Seeing it in color is really neat. My color channels had fairly poor signal to noise ratio and I wound up with streaky images. To resolve this I used Sigma Combine software to recreate my dark frame and to combine the color frames. I described the process here in my techniques section. I also have star elongation along the left edge of the image. Need to determine what's causing it.
