3/13/04 Galaxy M66

This galaxy is one of the three famous Leo Trio galaxies. I like M66, it has interesting texture. Scientists believe that M66 is being deformed through gravitational interaction with it's neighbors. On this night is was clear and cold, ripe for some imaging. However, my wife's sister was in from the West Coast and I didn't have much time to spend at the scope. I setup quickly, got the guiding started and went in for several hours. It was a windy night and I had a lot of throw aways, but enough decent shots to create this image.
